Childrens centre's are at the heart of the governments strategy to deliver better outcomes for the children and families, building
on the successes of Sure Start Local Programmes.
Sure Start Brierley Hill Children's Centre aims to provide the best possible services for children under 5 and their families. We provide; early education integrated with childcare, health, Speech and Language and family support, which aims to achieve better outcomes for children, parents and the local community.
You will be able to join in special events and attend meetings to voice your opinions and concerns about the services for young children in the Brierley Hill Area. You can help us monitor which facilities and services are being used the most and, more importantly, identify gaps in provision and help us to fill them.
As a national project, our information about the number of parents and children using Sure Start funded services will help the government plan early years services for the future.
The information you give us is confidential and subject to the provision of the Data Protection act 1998. Information will not be given to third parties without your consent. If we need to share information outside of the team, we will discuss this with you beforehand. We do however have legal obligation to share information if it relates to child protection.
If you live within the Sure Start Brierley Hill Children's Centre 'Super output area' you are entitled to use government funded services whether or not you are a registered member. We hope that you will register, but the decision is entirely yours.
